Changing how data are searched has an impact obviously in discovery but also in application. This article is a space for jotting down musings on any topic which influence project decisions in the future.

Tangential results
Current search engines produce a lot of results that are keyword matches to the criteria, but not necessary related to the subject matter. (Arbitrary metadata drive these results, which is not semantic or domain-centric.) Although these results may clutter efforts to pinpoint information, there is occassionally a benefit to stumbling upon information by chance. If Pelennor should optionally allow related content results to appear (tagged as appropriate).
