From Pelennor
Pelennor is a research project for exploring novel software architecture, with a focus on practical designs for pervasive computing. (aka. ubiquitous computing) It is currently in the exploratory stages. Pelennor represents a particular design philosophy and vision of the future, involving a variety of disciplines within computer science and software engineering. Most notable are the areas of large scale networks, databases, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction.
At present, this Wiki serves as an initial collaboration point for brainstorming. Most of the primary topic pages should be more formal at this point, but expect a great deal of less-structured thoughts in the fringes. Please bear with us.
